General Information & Policies

 

PRICES: Prices quoted are F.O.B Orem, Utah, and are subject to change without notice.  All sales are subject to applicable State and Federal Taxes.

 

MINIMUM ORDER: There is a $200.00 minimum opening order required.  All reorders are $100.00 There will be a $10.00 handling fee on orders under the minimum.

 

SHIPMENTS: Please advise us as to how you prefer shipment.  If no instructions are received we will ship best way.

 

DROP SHIPMENTS: There will be a $5.00 processing fee for all drop shipments.

 

DELIVERY: Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery from the date order is received.     

 

TERMS: Net 30 on approved accounts; Proforma; COD; and the following Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

 

PAST DUE ACCOUNTS: Overdue accounts are subject to a 1.5% per month finance change.

 

RETURNED CHECKS: A $20.00 service charge will be placed on all checks returned to us by the bank for non-payment.

 

RETURNS: All returns need to be pre-approved.

 

FINISH DISCLAIMER: All rust patina products are handcrafted, therefore a variation in the finish can be noticeable.

 

CLAIMS: All claims for defective merchandise must be made within 5 days of receipt of the order.  No returns will be accepted without prior authorization.

 

BREAKAGE OR DAMAGE: In case of damage, please contact the transportation company at once.  Hold the product in the original carton for inspection.  Do not return the shipment to Ironwood Industries.

 

UPS or FedEx Shipments: Note all damage on the receipt and have the driver initial this before you sign the receipt.  Do not remove any damaged merchandise from the original carton until an inspection has been made or waived by the shipping company.  Contact your local customer service and follow their instructions.

Motor Freight: Inspect the shipment for damage before signing the receipt.  The driver must note all damaged cartons and or shortages on the bill of lading and or delivery receipt before you sign for the shipment.  Failure to follow these instructions could result in a loss of claim.  File a claim with the freight company to replace or reimburse your company for any damage or shortages. Ironwood will help you to file your claim if necessary.  Ironwoods’s willingness to help does not constitute a transfer of any responsibility from the customer to us.  Freight companies do not accept shipments which are poorly packed or even appear damaged.  Ironwood will absolutely not accept any responsibility for any portion of any transportation loss or damage claim.

 

REFUSED SHIPMENTS:  Any shipment that is refused in whole or part will result in a 30% restocking charge as well as freight charges both ways.

 

LIMITED WARRANTY: Western Iron Makers dba Ironwood Industries shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use or inability to use any items sold by Ironwood.  Ironwood’s only obligation in lieu of all warranties expressed or implied is to replace any item proved to be defective.  Before using, the user must determine the suitability of the product for its intended use, and the user assumes all risk in connections therewith.  Ironwood Industries has no reason to know the use to which the user will put the product.
